The Missouri National Guard has 11,000 service members living in communities throughout the state, and chances are you have encountered these military personnel or their family members in your work. There are various resources available to this population to address their physical and behavioral health needs, financial issues, spiritual concerns, and the needs of their family. We will discuss the differences between the Active Duty military and the National Guard/Reserves, and will focus specifically on the resources available to the National Guard members and their families. We will also discuss the professional and volunteer opportunities available to provide services to the military population.
